Israeli Official Blasts Nuclear Reactor

A top Israeli official has charged that Iran's nuclear reactor at Bushehr is a threat to the Middle East, United Press International reports.

As economic sanctions on Tehran grow stricter, Iran may goad Hezbollah and Hamas to attack Israel, said Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon in a Farsi language broadcast on Israeli Radio.

Tehran could also make a military move against the Arab Gulf states, affecting the global flow of oil, he said.
