Islamists Threaten Reprisals After Blasts At Mosque

A pair of explosions at a mosque in the Somalia capital of Mogadishu on Saturday killed 39 people and injured scores more, reports Reuters, citing medical personnel and witnesses.

Most of those killed in the attack at the Abdalla Shideye mosque were reportedly members of the Al-Shabaab militant group, including a senior commander.

It was the second attack in a week on a mosque in Bakara market, which is dominated by members of the Al-Shabaab and Hizbul Islam rebel groups. ...
