The Islamic State's affiliate in Bangladesh has claimed responsibility for the killing of a policeman in the country's capital, reports Agence France-Presse.
A group of men stabbed and killed a police officer on Wednesday outside Dhaka. Another officer was injured.
The Islamic State said its "soldiers" in Bangladesh carried out the attack, according to the U.S.-based SITE monitoring group.
