A huge truck bomb on Thursday killed at least 60 people and injured more than 200 in Baghdad, say police officials cited by the International Business Times.
The bomb was detonated in a market in Sadr City, a predominately Shi'ite area in the capital. Casualties have been reported variously as more information becomes available.
The attack was one of the deadliest in Baghdad since Haider al-Abadi became prime minister a year ago, noted the Independent (U.K.).
