A explosion that went off during a police raid in Cairo on Thursday has left 10 people dead and more than a dozen injured, reports the Middle East Eye, citing local media.
The raid was made in the Al-Haram area of the Egyptian capital, near the Giza pyramids, reported official Al-Ahram newspaper.
A team of officers were raiding an apartment suspected to be a militant hideout, the Interior Ministry said.
