As ISIS Loses Its Holdings, Many Foreign Fighters Flee The Fight

Officials say many foreign fighters and sympathizers have been abandoning the Islamic State and fleeing to Turkey, reports the Guardian (U.K.).

At least two British nationals and an American citizen last week surrendered to Turkish border police after spending more than two years in ISIS-controlled areas, according to unnamed sources.

Dozens of other foreigners are known to have fled in recent weeks, with most being caught as they attempted to cross the border into Turkey. ...
