Islamic State terrorists have killed five policemen in a town near the largest oil refinery in Iraq, reports Reuters.
The militants attacked the officers in the village of Tal Albu Jarad as part of the ongoing battle to control the nearby Baiji refinery, said a security official on Wednesday.
The attack was likely an effort to relieve pressure on ISIS fighters trapped in the refinery, said the official.
