Islamic State fighters have attacked a village south of Mosul, say security sources cited by Reuters.
ISIS terrorists infiltrated Imam Gharbi, about 44 miles south of Mosul, on Wednesday evening from a pocket of territory that the terror group still controls on the eastern bank of the Tigris River, said security sources.
Up to 13 militiamen were killed and 14 injured Wednesday in the village by the ISIS fighters, reported the Baghdad Post.
