ISIS Fighters Fleeing As Peshmerga Enter Sinjar

Kurdish forces in northern Iraq say they have entered the ISIS-held town of Sinjar after launching an offensive on Wednesday, reports the New York Times.
The Kurdistan regional security council said on Friday that its forces came into the town "from all directions," reported the Guardian (U.K.).
The Kurds had seized key buildings and had ISIS fighters on the run, said the council.
