The Islamic State is hiding high-value prisoners and sheltering senior group officials at Syria's largest dam, reports the Wall Street Journal, citing several people familiar with the situation.
The militants have apparently decided that the U.S. will not bomb the Taqba Dam since that could flood large parts of Iraq and cut electricity to all of eastern Syria, according to experts.
