ISIS Counterattacks At Tabqa Dam; SDF Keeps Up Fight Toward Raqqa

Forces from a U.S.-backed rebel group have repelled a major Islamic State counterattack in Syria's Tabqa dam, reports Al-Masdar News (U.A.E.).

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been advancing on Tabqa dam, a key strategic target, on its way to surround Raqqa, the de facto capital of ISIS.
