A German woman who joined the Islamic State terrorist group has received a jail sentence for her culpability in the murder of an enslaved Yazidi girl, reports Politico Europe (Brussels).
On Monday, the Munich Higher Regional Court sentenced Jennifer Wenisch to 10 years in prison, reported Deutsche Presse-Agentur.
Wenisch stood by while her husband, an ISIS fighter in Iraq, tied up the five-year-old Yazidi girl and left her to die of thirst in the heat.
