A surprise attack launched by Islamic State terrorists has killed several dozen Kurdish security forces in Iraq, reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
Fighting was continuing after Saturday’s assault near Gwer, a town 25 miles southwest of Irbil, the capital of the Kurdish autonomous region, said Kurdish officers.
Around 60 ISIS militants were killed, according to the officers.
