Iron Duke Frigate On The Way To Middle East

HMS Iron Duke has left England for a six-month deployment to the Arabian Gulf, reports the Press Association (U.K.).
The frigate will assist in anti-piracy operations, provide security for Iraq's oil platforms and support Royal Navy exercises and operations in the region, officials said.
The Iron Duke -- a Norfolk-class or Type 23 frigate -- departed Portsmouth Naval Base on Monday.
The frigate is the first of the type to deploy the region.
