The Israeli Iron Dome short-range rocket defense system passed several tests this week, according to officials cited by the Jerusalem Post.
The system intercepted a number of rocket barrages that were launched in southern Israel, military officials said. Those barrages mimicked Kassam and Grad rockets known to be in Hamas' arsenal.
The Defense Ministry, air force and system manufacturer Rafael Advanced Defense Systems oversaw the tests.
