The Israeli military has set up an Iron Dome rocket interceptor battery outside the Gaza border town of Sderot, the Jerusalem Post reports.
The town has been hit repeatedly by rocket and mortar attacks from Gaza, making this deployment a challenge for the system, said officials.
The move is part of a rotation of Israel's two mobile batteries while more are being built, military officials said on Thursday.
