Speaking to the Disabled American Veterans national convention in Atlanta, President Obama reaffirmed U.S. plans to end its combat mission in Iraq at the end of this month, the Washington Post reports.
Operation Iraqi Freedom will be replaced by Operation New Dawn, which will focus on civilian and diplomatic efforts, rather than combat.
