Iranian, Pakistani Support Alleged In IED Attacks

Improvised explosive device (IED) attacks on British troops in Afghanistan are being funded and supplied from within Iran and Pakistan, according to a senior British officer cited by London's Daily Telegraph.
Military intelligence has uncovered evidence that some attacks are supported from outside Afghanistan, particularly more sophisticated components and funding, said Maj. Gen. Gordon Messenger.
