There are unconfirmed, open-source intelligence reports that Iran has delivered an initial batch of drones to Russia, reports the Institute for the Study of War (Washington, D.C.).
Iranian technicians and pilots were also said to have arrived in Russia to learn to fly and maintain Su-35 fighters.
If true, Russia may have agreed to trade Su-35 fighters to Iran in exchange for drones. Last month, it was reported that Moscow planned to buy hundreds of Iranian drones.
