'Iran Unit' Of Hamas Annihilated, Say Palestinians

Palestinian officials say the "Iranian unit" of Hamas has been completely destroyed in the Gaza offensive, Haaretz reports.

Members of the Hamas unit, approximately 100 strong, were trained in Iran under the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

Members of the group were instructed in infantry fighting tactics and given training in anti-tank missiles and explosives, said the Palestinian sources.
