Iran and Djibouti have agreed to boost their military cooperation efforts, reports Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency.
Djibouti's top military commander Fathi Ahmad Hossein met this week with visiting Iranian navy chief Rear Adm. Habibollah Sayyari.
Agreements were reached to cooperate in counterterrorism, defeating smugglers and pirates in the Gulf of Aden and ship repair and maintenance.
