The former British aircraft carrier Invincible is at a recycling yard in Aliaga, Turkey, for scrapping, reports the Northwest Evening Mail.
When in service, the Invincible headed up the task force that responded to Argentina's invasion of the Falkland Islands in 1982. She later served in Bosnia in 1995 and Iraq in 1998 and 1999.
