Military investigators are looking into the cause of a Russian trainer aircraft over the weekend.
Two military pilots were uninjured after their trainer aircraft went down on Saturday, reports the domestic Sputnik news agency.
The Yak-130 trainer crashed near the base in Borisoglebsk, in the country's southwest, said the Defense Ministry.
The pilots reportedly steered the aircraft away from nearby buildings before ejecting.
