The Nigerian air force says one of its AW109 light utility helicopter crashed last week during a liaison mission in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state.
The aircraft suffered a technical fault on July 6. The pilots successfully ditched the helicopter in a pool of water to minimize damage. There were no injuries, the air force said.
