International Court Probes Allegations That Rape Is Being Used As Weapon

The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court says there is evidence that Libyan ruler Muammar Qaddafi has promoted the use of rape as a weapon against rebel forces, reports Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

Prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo said his investigators have found indications that Qaddafi personally decided on using rape and distributed Viagra to some troops as part of the campaign.

"In some areas, we have a number of hundreds of people raped," he said.
