The International Criminal Court in the Netherlands has issued an arrest warrant for Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, the BBC reports.
The Hague court charged Qaddafi on Monday with crimes against humanity and of ordering attacks against civilians.
The court also issued warrants for Qaddafi's son, Saif al-Islam, and intelligence chief Abdullah al-Sanussi.
Thousands of Libyans have been reported killed since an uprising against Qaddafi began in mid-February.
