The Thai Cabinet has decided to lift the emergency decree that has been in effect in the Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan regions, reports the Bangkok Post.
The state of emergency decree will be replaced by the provisions of the Internal Security Act beginning on Wednesday, according to a government spokesman.
