Officials from Austria and the Czech Republic have agreed to reinforce their joint border patrols in an attempt to counter the influx of immigrants, reports Radio Praha (Prague).
Czech Interior Minister Milan Chovanec and his Austrian counterpart Johanna Leitner met Monday in the Czech town of Mikulov.
The patrols will be strengthened and communications improved to deal with the number of illegals and the criminal activity along the border.
