The Sudanese transitional government has reached an agreement to compensate family members of the sailors killed in the attack on a U.S. Navy destroyer in Aden in 2000, reports the Sudan Tribune (Paris).
Khartoum will pay US$30 million to the family members of the 17 sailors aboard USS Cole who died, Justice Minister Nasr al-Din Abdel Bari said on Wednesday.
