Intel Stations Shut In Middle East

In a money-saving effort, the Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS) has closed six international intelligence stations over the last eight months, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
The closures primarily affected stations in the Middle East, including the post in Baghdad, according to an unnamed source. The Baghdad station was closed despite reported protests from the United States.
