Intel Agency Detains Militant Group Commander

The leader of a militant group involved in the killing of a Swedish journalist last year is reportedly under arrest in Afghanistan, according to Reuters.

The National Directorate of Security has detained a commander of the Mahaz-e-Fefaiyan group, also known as Suicide Front, said a spokesman for the intelligence agency on Wednesday.

Authorities said two pistols, two time bombs and a silencer were also recovered.
