Insurgents Carry Out Attacks In Kabul, Kunduz

At least 13 people were killed in insurgent attacks Sunday on Afghan security personnel in Kabul and Kunduz, north of the capital, reports the New York Times.
Government officials said two insurgents armed with AK-47s and grenades opened fire on a bus carrying army trainers on the outskirts of Kabul. One attacker then ran onto the bus and blew himself up, killing five Afghan army training officers and wounding nine others, according to the Defense Ministry.
