Senior officials say that British forces in Afghanistan will not be equipped with a sufficient number of armored vehicles until the end of 2010, reports the Times of London.
While the government has increased the size of its contingent in Afghanistan from 8,100 to 9,000 troops, there are not enough armored vehicles and trained drivers, according to commanders.
