The U.S. Air Force has rolled out its first modernized T-38 jet trainer, according to a service announcement.
Work on the initial aircraft was finished at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, by technicians from the 575th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, said the Air Force last week. Eleven other aircraft are being upgraded.
The Pacer Classic III program extends the life of the trainers to 2029. Work on each aircraft, said to be the most invasive structural modification ever...
