Initial Special Ops Marine Unit To Use Boats Donated By China

The first special operations marine unit to protect Zambia's territorial waters has been activated, reports the Times of Zambia.
The 48 Marine Unit was formally launched on Sunday in the Nchelenge District of the northern Luapula province.
The unit will help secure the nation's waters, said President Edgar Lungu during the ceremony.
The president also thanked China for donating the boats assigned to the unit.
