The Royal Australian Air Force has accepted into service the first of five advanced tanker/transports, reports Airbus Military, builder of the plane.
The A330 multirole tanker transport (MRTT), also known as the KC-30A, was formally handed over during a Wednesday ceremony at RAAF Amberley in Queensland.
A second aircraft is scheduled to be delivered later this month, with two more to follow by the end of the year. The fifth and final A330 MRTT is set to be delivered in 2012. ...
