The U.S. Army has taken delivery of its first batch of Infantry Squad Vehicles (ISVs) that were ordered in June, reports Fox Business.
The vehicles were formally handed over on Tuesday during a ceremony at the General Motors Defense proving grounds and production facility in Milford, Mich., reported Defense News.
GM Defense received the $214.3 million contract to manufacture 649 ISVs in June.
The vehicles will undergo final testing before series production begins.
