Saudi Arabia has received its first batch of engines, spare parts and conventional warheads for a new ballistic missile jointly developed with Ukraine, reports Defence Blog.
The Thunder-2, also known as the Grom-2, is based on Ukraine's Sapsan mobile short-range ballistic missile system. It is designed as a survivable, rapidly deployable platform that can employ a variety of warheads to destroy enemy facilities, assembly areas, artillery and other rear area targets.
