The United States is dispatching 80 counterintelligence agents to Afghanistan to try to stop Taliban infiltration of the Afghan security forces, Agence France-Presse reports.
The story was reported by the New York Times on Friday.
The Americans will attempt to strengthen the vetting of recruits and review profiles of those soldiers being trained, military officials said.
