Indian Opposition Squelches Plans For Fighter Purchase From Pakistan

Facing opposition by India, the Sri Lankan government has decided to drop plans to buy fighter jets from Pakistan, reports the Indian Express.
Earlier this month, Pakistani media reported that a US$400 million deal for eight JF-17 fighters was going to be signed last week during a visit by Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Colombo.
