Indian Official Offers Naval Help Against Pirates

The Indian government has indicated it is ready to assist Mozambique in efforts against piracy, reports the Mozambique Information Agency.
"We share Mozambique's concern about piracy, because piracy is a threat," said Prashant Chowdhry, India's new military attache to Mozambique on Monday. "We are willing to make available patrol boats, warships and aircraft for maritime inspection."
