The United States and India have agreed to train United Nations peacekeeping personnel in six African countries, reports the Press Trust of India.
"We agreed on a joint initiative to train troops in six African countries before they deploy to U.N. peacekeeping missions," said U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday in Washington, D.C.
"This responds to a growing need for effective professional international peacekeeping in regions of conflict," said Kerry.
