"Inappropriate personal behavior" prompted the firing of the commanding officer of the Trident Training Facility in Bangor, Wash., said a U.S. Navy spokesman cited by the Navy Times.
Capt. David Solms was relieved Tuesday due to a loss of confidence in his ability to command, the spokesman said. He has been temporarily reassigned.
He became the 14th skipper fired this year.
