South Korea's coast guard has promised to crack down on illegal fishing boats in the Yellow Sea following a deadly incident on Saturday.
A Chinese trawler sank after colliding with a South Korean coast guard patrol boat in the Yellow Sea, reports South Korea's JoongAng Daily.
Two Korean patrol vessels approached the trawler, which was illegally fishing in South Korean waters, and attempted to board, said South Korean officials.
