Police say an improvised explosive device tore through a bus near the Makati financial district of the Philippine capital of Manila on Tuesday, killing four people, the Philippine Inquirer reports.
At least 14 others were wounded in the explosion, security officials said.
The blast was probably caused by a bomb planted under a seat, according to police cited by RTT News. Pieces of a mortar and a cell phone were reportedly found in the debris.
