IED Kills 3 Paramilitaries In Peshawar; Pakistani Taliban Faction Claims Responsibility

Pakistani officials say at least three members of the paramilitary Frontier Constabulary (FC) have been killed and five injured in a blast on Tuesday.

The explosion occurred at a funeral in the Bashirabada area of Peshawar in northwestern Pakistan, reports the Express Tribune (Pakistan).

An improvised explosive device was planted in the road and targeted an FC convoy, according to local officials. A civilian was also injured in the blast.
