The Russian icebreaker Admiral Makarov has rescued an icebound trawler trapped in the Far East of the country, RIA Novosti reports.
The Cape Elizabeth was freed in the Sea of Okhotsk on Wednesday with 78 crew members on board, said officials. The vessel became trapped on Monday.
Three other ships were trapped last week. The Sodruzhestvo fishery mother ship, the refrigerator freighter Bereg Nadezhdy and the Professor Kizevetter scientific research ship, also called for help...
