Turkey has successfully demonstrated an armed capability for its indigenously developed Hurkus basic trainer aircraft, reports Defense News.
During a ceremony on April 7, Turkish officials tested the Hurkus with the L-UMTAS laser-guided anti-tank missile.
The missile was fired at and hit its target at a range near Konya-Karapinar, noted IHS Jane's Defence Weekly.
