Hundreds Of Markers To Show Border With Russia

Estonia has begun installing new land border markers along its frontier with Russia, reports Estonian Public Radio.
The first of 760 new markers was placed on Tuesday near the Pedetsi River in the southern part of the country.
The goal is to reduce illegal border crossings by increasing awareness of the precise lines, according to Estonian officials.
Another 412 buoys are also planned for Lake Peipus and the Narva River to demarcate those borders.
