A Pakistani Taliban raid on a prison in the northwest has freed 384 inmates, reports CNN.
On Sunday morning, hundreds of militants attacked the prison in the city of Bannu, wounding four prison officials, said police.
Among the prisoners who escapeed were 21 high-profile militants, said the information minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Many of those who escaped were convicted Pakistani Taliban (TTP) fighters, reported Al Jazeera (Qatar).
